Juggling Angels

Juggling Angels

I watched an angel fall through my grasp as I juggled the
fear and pain keeping them out of my every day life.

She did not shatter as I expected when she hit the floor mearly
rolling just out of arms reach.

My first reaction was to lunge out and grasp her damning
the delicate balance of the fears and feelings I kept in
the air.

But knowing that in doing so, would cause them to fall and
in turn shatter, releasing themselves back into my life.

Act quickly risk and rescue or turn away to the tedium of
the known.
The decision was made without thought.

As I glanced over my shoulder, the angel was gone.
I picked up another sphere of pain and tossed into the airborne
mix.
