You're Someone Beautiful

Walk among trees and those who are limber
Know not one who wished to be timber
Of good ground and highly praised
Oh, how you sprouted as you were raised
Intervened came he who cut you down
There you lay, lying on the ground
Taken somewhere you didnt want to go
As a young one, how could you know?
Choppedbeatenripped apart and bruised
Troubles unending, are you feeling used?
Stompedcrushedlaid out to dry
Give me back my roots thought you cried
Portrait of shame from which you hide
Lacking ambition, lacking your pride
Folded into, packed away with others
Thinking just you, just you it bothers
Until there comes one, removing you from the pack
Giving you full force that which you lack
Gently unfolding your layers of sorrow
Showing you hope for a brighter tomorrow
Feeling the truth, fearing no longer
Lifting lowered corners, formed solid core
Protecting you from that which made you sore
Carefully and firmly, holding you secure
Together you know, no false lures
With you in hand, holding you tight
Squeeze loose layers, which caused you fright
You are finished turning, mind and body strong
Yesterday is over today is a new song
Never again shall you be torn
Youre Someone Beautiful, Beautifully reborn.
