Solace

A roaring fireplace to warm the heart and soul
Fluffy pillows to curl up to, which form to my body
A quiet hum comes over the house and it seems to lull
Berry bath salts that perfume a soothing moment alone.

A casual stroll pass a cascading path of tulips
Stars in the night sky that glimmer like diamonds
Tiny ocean ripples that gently flow over my toes
A peaceful rain gently beating on the porch

Daylight sunbeams that prism through the windows
A full moon that reflects on the still ocean water
Winter's first snow that covers the ground
Dewdrops that gently separate the rose petals

Finding it can be so difficult at times to notice
As a wise friend advised me from a famous quote
Solace is wherever you find it
